What Is Cutle?

Cutle is a shape-cutting game built around a simple challenge: split the displayed figure as close to 50:50 as possible. You only make one cut, so the position and angle of your line determine the final score.

The puzzle tests visual estimation rather than cutting speed. Some shapes are symmetrical, while others contain curves, narrow sections, holes, or disconnected pieces that make their true area difficult to judge.

How to Play Cutle

Press or click inside the board, drag a straight line completely through the shape, and release. Cutle then separates the two sides and calculates their estimated area ratio.

A result such as 48:52 is close, but the goal is to reach 50:50. You can reset the current shape and adjust the line slightly instead of moving immediately to another puzzle.

Cutle also includes an Infinite mode with randomly generated shapes. This is useful for practicing without waiting for the next daily challenge.

Make sure the line passes fully across the shape. A short line that stops inside the figure may not count as a valid cut.

Tips for Better Cutle Scores

Look for a natural line of symmetry before trying unusual angles.
Compare the filled area, not only the width or length of the outline.
Treat thin extensions as less important than wide, solid sections.
After a close result, move the line only a small distance.
Use diagonal cuts when a vertical or horizontal split leaves one side too heavy.
Practice in Infinite mode to improve your area estimation.

Cutle Trophies

Cutle rewards especially accurate cuts. A perfect precise score earns the highest result, while close ratios such as 49:51 and 48:52 can earn lower trophy levels. Trophy and progress information is stored in your browser.
